GM Parts Distribution Facility Construction Right On Schedule
With much of its exterior walls and roof in place, first-tier GM parts supplier James Group of Ohio Logistics is right on schedule to complete its new $32.5 million distribution facility housing its operations and 250-300 employees by this fall. James Group Logistics will be responsible for packaging and shipping GM parts nationally and worldwide.
Private organizations involved in this $32.5 million public /private investment also feature facility developer/owner Corvus International, facility builder Oliver-Hatcher Construction and business customer The General Motors Corporation. Contributing public organizations include The City of Trotwood, Montgomery County ($500,000 ED/GE grant), The Ohio Rail Development Commission ($200,000 grant), and The Ohio Department of Development ($400,000 grant).
