Groundbreaking Ceremony Held For Medical Facility

(Trotwood, Ohio, November 1, 2006) – A groundbreaking ceremony for the Nenonene Medical Center’s $2.8 million facility was held today to mark the transformation and substantial commitment to the City of Trotwood’s western gateway.

Once complete, this comprehensive, modern health care operation will house an urgent care, family practice, pharmacy, weight loss clinic, dentist, physical therapy and specialty medical services such as radiology and ophthalmology.  The two-story, 16000+ square foot  facility will sit on a three acre site.  “This investment will begin to stimulate additional development along the lower portion of the Salem Avenue Corridor,” says Planning & Development Director Rhonda Finley.

The Nenonene Medical Center at the Nenonene Medical Park is being designed by Pinnacle Architects.  This project is the result of a Community Reinvestment Agreement (CRA) between the City of Trotwood, City of Dayton and Dr. Kwasi Nenonene who have pledged to create 19 new jobs.  Dr. Nenonene will manage all development, construction, and property management for the medical office part building slated to open September 2007.
